The majority of lost hang glider pilots I have known have died on ultralights.
Now Mark joins that long list...

Sad to hear about Mark,
Mark had delivered a BB trike (w/447 Rotax) to us at Amigos de Cielo Airport (NM90) which is about 5 miles north of Rodeo NM. (USA).

John McAfee ordered it so Ole and I could power up and thermal soar it with one of Ole’s trike wings (Cosmos Zoom 19 meter). Great work of mechanical art.

So I’m thinking the last time Ole and I saw Mark was around 2007 or 2008.
His kids and wife must be crushed. Friends have told me how Mark would stop work when his son would ask him things. They told me he was a great Dad.
Darn!
