Back in early November I helped Rick Masters obtain the domain name "ushga.aero" in connection with Rick's service on the U.S. Hawks Board.

For a while, Rick directed "ushga.aero" to various web sites (including the U.S. Hawks).
Thanks Rick.

On December 4th, 2018, Frank Colver posted this:

Frank Colver wrote: ... I got a phone call from a well known hang glider / paraglider pilot a couple of evenings ago and he said there a lot of PG pilots who are also completely dissatisfied with the strangle hold USHPA has on both sports. I think the momentum is building toward the formation of a new national org or perhaps two if we seperate HG and PG. With that momentum we can begin!

This org needs to start like the original USHGA started with a complete BOD and a phone / email contact and probably a Facebook account (I personally don;t do Facebook). The person who called me said he didn't think we could use forums anymore, to start a new organization. Also in order to even get a start Bob needs to be completely unassociated with it other than being a regular member, if he chooses. ...

There have been a number of other references to "ushga.aero" on the U.S. Hawks forum:

I look forward to seeing what comes of this effort, and I'm starting this topic to open the discussion for thoughts and ideas.

There are rumors of more activity behind the scenes. I hope they're not stalled.

Rick sent out an email message that found it's way to my in-box from several sources ... including from Rick himself. It was a pretty good message to start with, but I've picked out my favorite parts in this slightly truncated and reformatted version:

From Rick Masters, webmaster of USHGA.AERO
USHGA #30816 https://ushga.aero/masters/

USHGA.AERO Worpress websites are free to hang glider pilots who would like to have a common place to stand.

You can contact me for your website credentials and a USHGA.AERO forwarding email address at webmaster@USHGA.AERO

These Wordpress websites are satellites of USHGA.AERO and are meant to be legacy sites that outlive us all. I was told by an enthusiastic Smithsonian historian that he will be following this project with great interest. The permanence of USHGA.AERO is demonstrated by the fact that I already have been given, without asking, financial pledges to ensure its continued Internet presence for years into the future.

USGHA.AERO is a huge, first-class aviation business site with unlimited storage and unlimited bandwidth. It is capable of easily hosting hundreds of individual, state of the art Wordpress sites where hang glider pilots can tell their stories.

When a critical mass of perhaps 200 websites are built, the USHGA.AERO home page will go public as an Index to your Wordpress sites.  However, your sites can go live whenever you want and you can link directly to them.

These Wordpress sites are highly customizable and state of the art.
You will be the Administrator of your site. The sites can be private or public.  Speak out about the things you believe are important.

No direct personal attacks but polite criticism of functionaries, groups and policies is fair game. Your first menu item must be hang gliding or aviation-related. After that, feel free to build a life history or address other interests that have nothing to do with flying. Aviation-related business is okay (no promotion of paragliding).  No money transfer within USHGA.AERO at this time so as not to jeprodize future nonprofit status. Talk about your business all you want, and link to it.

USHGA.AERO is a place for hang glider pilots to stand together.
All are welcome.  You don't need a USHGA number.  Histories. Opinions. Analysis of our current situation. What direction we might take from here.

All this is needed in one place.  I'll be sending site credentials out to early USHGA pilots first. I will help you get started.  Hopefully, you will then help others.

What USHGA.AERO evolves into is up to you. I built it as a foundation for that discussion, where every opinion can be immediately accessed, reviewed and considered without rancor. I would like to eventually hand USHGA.AERO off to a future Board of Directors and just have an individual website like everyone else.

We old guys can give guidance, but it's up to the new generation of hang glider pilots to take the reins and choose the path into the future.

Cherish your history,
Rick Masters

There's also a https://USHGA.aero/grisham/, but it's mostly empty:

Michael Grisham seemed to think that the USHPA governance proposal was a pretty big deal. Maybe they're waiting for the outcome of the vote before announcing anything.

It passed again. It's time (again) to open for business.

P.S. I just left a voice message for Rick urging him to open up the front page of USHGA.aero. I ended my voice message with:

"Pull the pin and launch it!!"

I sure hope he does.
