Perhaps higher resolution HERE
===================================
Perhaps identify each sub figure for expanded study? Structure? Possibly express the structure with modern materials for specialty hang gliders?
Look for seeds of items found in later hang gliders. :idea: :idea: :idea:

First small figure of the table of figures: Maybe someone may obtain better resolution of the document.

Seeds of variable geometry or controls?

A different source regarding topic subfigure
What were the notes that he made near the subject figure? English?

We find "Leonard de" "Leonardo da" etc. ????

Hello Joe: this Tableau D'Aviation is one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen. I shared it with my 12 year old grandson, and he aggrees. Could you tell us where it came from? Sawyer wants it to make a copy of it and put on his wall.
I am new to this site, and after watching the video that Bob shared with me about the history of hang gliding, it brought back so many memories. water skiing with Bill Bennet in Sydney Austrailia 1968, watching David Cronk and others fly at Torrance Beach 1970, meeting them again when they came to fly at Telluride in 1972. Really enjoying all The hang gliding festivals that brought together some of the coolest people from all over the world to fly Telluride.
The 60's were an incredible time to be in California, although those of us that graduated in 1964 were greeted by Uncle Sam with an 'invitation' to visit beautiful Vietnam, but we couldn't bring our surf boards of skate boards so we respectively declined. Oh wait.....Oh well.
If you can send us a link for Tabealu D'Aviation we would be grateful, thank you, and "fair winds".
