The first HG 100 miler
Posted: Sun Jul 19, 2020 8:48 pmI was digging through old Ground Skimmer / Hang Gliding magazines on one of the DVD's in the collection titled: "US Hang Gliding Association Complete Magazine Collection 1971 - Present" (2003). I wasn't looking for this but I copied it to post here. Jerry Katz was at our Otto Lilienthal meet in 2018. Here is the announcement of his being the first person to fly a hang glider 100 miles. This is from the August 1977 issue of Hang Gliding Magazine.
