So Yesterday My friend Kevin "D" did not take Me to the Training Hill. Well kevin did say that We would go this Weekend. maybe today is the day! it is after all, Slack Sunday. The other thing that is at the Top of my To-Do list Will to be to get myself driven to kinko's. that way I will be able to fill the release out and Mail it. I need to get a Release filled out , so that when I land at Torrey Pines I will be able to simply stop breaking down My Glider and pull out My Torrey Pines waiver and hand it to whoever is directly in front of Me giving Me a hard time for landing there at Torrey.

lANDING AND HOSTILES'

i know another Pilot who was Flying having launched from Mount Saint Helena iUo North here in Sonoma County. So Scott headed out on an Xc route, Scott is an avid XC Pilot. Wll Scott did what Scott does Quite often. Scott Sunk out and landed in a Prison! It turned out OK. Scott even wrote about it on the Sonoma Wings Web-Site. He titled it something like This Pilot had to Fly out of Prison. I had the incident where I landed on Government Property, I had two Young Men with Automatic Weapons telling Me that I had Violated Their Air Space. When I pointed down the Valley thus pointing to Mount Diablo so I could answer their Question as to were I had launched from/ They did not believe Me. Mount Diablo is only 44 Miles South of where I had landed. Experiences such as Scott's and Mune. You reallt can not buy Moments lite those. Hang Gilding, what adventures await You.

Well I do not have anything Momentous to report. NO no report of My having Flown. But I an a Predator Pilot with a Plan.I am really going to as of Today crank up a Work out Sechele of working out My Body so as to improve the left side of My Body. I have Five Months 11 Days to make improvements to My Bodies Left Side.

Tomorrow as a Birthday Present to Myself I will have My Sister Drive Me down to Kinkos so that I can have them Print out a release for Docweiler Beach. Funny thing I will have a Release in My hand. Then on the Third Weekend of May. I will be able to just as John said on something that He put on the Web,. I will be able to release Myself from this Gravity secured Penitentiary that we all Live in.

It is funny, a strange to Me. But it just so happens to Be that what We akk know is the Best Day of the Year, I am talking about the absolute finest Day of the entire Year happens to coincide with what Day is My Birthday. That Day is today Tuesday, January 10th. If You doubt that Today is the best day of the Year? You can ask Pat Benatar. Rod Stewart, or George Foreman. For the Three of them also know that Today is the Best Day of the Year.

so why don't all of Yu head out today, The Best Day of the Year. Where I hope that all of You will have Your Best Flight's of the Year.

OK I want to add this Feel Good thought. But I am posting this thought to a group of Hawk Pilots. This thought, My Birthday wish to those of You Who will be Flying xc fLIGHTS TODAY. mAY yOUR xc be Flights where You will first get High, then You shall; "GO FAR!" I do hope that those of You who do choose to Fly an XC Route. That You Fly so far that You have no idea where You are. That it only after talking to a local Landowner do You realize that You are not in the State where Your flight began.

Thanks Bob for getting Me dialed in to where the Release for Dockweiler. Well now I will Contact Torrey Pines to see if I will need to have a Waiver so that if I make the Flight to Torrey so that I will not be breaking Some sort of Law by showing up and landing there. I said before when I Violated controlled Airspace. Yes I have done that only to have a Couple guys with Guns acting all aggressively stating how I had been in violation. When I replied to the Question; Where did I launch from. I pointed South towards Mount Diablo. I said; "I launched from Mount Diablo". One of these two Guys just looked in disbelief. He They had looks of utter Disbelief. One said to Me; You know that is pretty cool. Have You ever flown this far Before? I replied Far? You think this is Far? Heck this is only 44 Miles.

In the end I believe that I won them over some. So one thing that was fun was; They were talking about My Flying, so far I had flown. Well it was far in their minds anyways I had just flown a long ways. I was trying to bring them up to speed regarding flying cross Country. one of them said to Me that it seemed pretty cool to him.I explained to Him how just about anyone can learn to fly. I explained to them how We Climb in Altitude, riding Columns of rising Air then we exchange the Altitude that wWe gainedin order to cover ground, Glide. All in all it turned out pretty well.

They went from aggressive and hostile to Wide Eyed and inquisitive. On that Spring Day, I was spreading words, words of High Hopes and Freedom.

Well here is my situation. I am still trying to get a Copy of the Dockweiler Release Form. As of now I am enduring a Self Impl,ossed Stay at Home Decree. You see in spite of the fact that My Sister is hands down the Best Sister is the best, the finest Sister that I can imagine. I have managed to upset Her to the degree that She is Shunning the thought of Driving Me to Kinko's. But this latest Verbal Screw Up will be The last what is the Word Is it Fonepaw. Is Fonepaw a Word that would be appropriate for having really Put One's Foot in One's Mouth. I am talking all the Way in Your Mouth very deep in Your Mouth.


Check this out; I was talking to a Friend of Mine who will remain Nameless for Obvious reasons. Well when I asked Him if He had a Sister? His reply was; "Yes I do have a Sister. I said to Him; Well Sight unseen, My Sister is better than Your Sister. He replied "So do I".

Flying, I am talking about Me here. Yes I will Fly. "I The; "phoenix Guy in the Sky" will Launch from Dockweiler Beach. Where I will Land I nor You will know where. Never Mind where I will land. But be sure to Strike up the Band, and Celebrate This Phoenix Guy's return to Free-Flight. That Day will be Tuesday May Twenty Third.
