A Salute to the American Workforce, as they cheer themselves into history, again and again.

As an avid reader of US Hawks, Thanks Bob, and Joe for your H0 rating, and TY for posting the latest "brave works" of Rick Masters.
He was brave here on US Hawks from the beginning, and it's all written out, then ventured out on to his own platforms and substack last year to find new ground where he has plied his trade as a citizen journalist 2.0.
There is American "SpaceX",
then there are ALL others.I have been a "rocket freek" since I got out of High School and was hired as a trainee draftsman for Douglas Aircraft Co. in 1965.
They sent me to Vandenburg AFB where I got to be one of those "cheering crowds",
and when we blew up a couple of Delta Rockets that acted just like Starship we hollered profusely.
What a sight as the controllers "split the tanks" when the rocket veered out of the "cone".
The millions of pieces that flew off into the sunset were spectacular for Calif. (Come And Live In Florida ha.) but on one occasion, it was just,
"the end of the year inventory close out sale".
Ironically and by sheer luck, I got to stand on the press pad and see the Saturn 5 launch to the moon 3 years later, the sight and sound was incredible and the cheers were thunderous. It almost pushed us over and I can not imagine what Starship sounded like from up close.
Watching the Starship launch from a SpaceX feed (thanks again Bob for bringing Rick's post here for all to see)
brought back all those great feelings for me, but more so,
all of the millions of workers who, "Make It So".
CHEERS .
