OK, I almost started a New Post, I would have titled it "Physical Flying Questions". So here I go; Does anyone know a Pilot Who lost a Hundred pounds or more. Then went on to Fly the same glider. I was Two Hundred Ninety-Eight pounds when I last Flew. That Flight was on March 28th. 2010. So now that this Six Foot Three-inch-tall Pilot's weight hovers rite about 200 Pounds, Plus or minus two hundred pounds I do weigh.

I must not be the only Pilot that Flies hang gliders, that lost a whole bunch of weight for Me; My losing a hundred pounds is a lot of weight. Aere there any others out there in US Hawks vile?

"CHOICES"

OK I have a Pilot friend Who "Feels That;" Flying up in the Air. Yes, flying in the Air that is not above where He launched from, above His Home site is More Dangerous when Flying Cross Country Route than to Fly while remaining close to where He had launched from. These: "FEELINGS OF SAFETY" have power over these types of Pilots. They will Make decisions regarding Safety. Decisions not based on things like a real factual point, or Points. No, they do not look at the reality of their Choice as to where to Fly. They let Raw Fear dictate their decision, Proces. We all know that if You have a fear, or that You are Concerned that You might meet a terrible end to that Particular Day that You chose to Fly, that the Odds are extremely higher that You might have a dreaded: {Mid Air}. Due to flying Your Local Costal Ridge. Then heading out on a Cross Country flight. No matter How a Pilot {FFELS} about the Air that He or She Flys in. The reality of the risk that the Pilot will encounter due to a N=Mid-Air is far Higher due to His or Her's choosing to Boat along at the Ridge Soaring Flite, than if He or She chose to Fly XC.

Well, this Busted, broken down Predator Pilot does have thoughts of flying. I mean when this incredible experience that befell Me. I like so many of You that read these: "Brain injured Posts that I write already know. I am attempting to put Myself in the position so that I will once again as Well AC/DC wrote a song, a good Song called: "Jail Break". Well, I intend on making A Jail Break like never before!

OK We all had the same feelings of Euforia, elation, Heck Ecstasy, upon leaving this Horizontal Gravity secured Penitentiary that We all reside in.

I have heard lines spoken by Actors in Movies that depicted Prisoners who were in a Penitentiary talking about, Ding Time. Well, that is how I feel like. I feel like I am doing Time.

But I think, believe, hope that I will make My Escape This Spring. So, when the Weather warms, and John and I head to a Flying site. I will for the First time Fly for the First Time in Fourteen Years! Yes, for a moment in time Quite possibly an extremely short time, for My "Flight" might be where I will fly covering Feet, not Miles. But nevertheless, I will be Free!

I around here, I find Myself thinking. Yes, I I ponder My why else? I think of Flying Mt Predator. Look I realize that there are vastly different thoughts regarding Gliders. I simply love Ny Predator. One reason that I love My Predator is that when flying it cross Country, well because of the fact that as My Pilot friend has said: "The Predator has such a Phenomenal Sink rate." It has always been so easy to Fly, it has good handling characteristics. When lading My Predator. I have grown so Confident in landing My 158. I mean I the Pilot would need to be a very Ham - Fisted, Bone head Pilot in order for My Predator to: "Whack".

It just kills Me that I did not have the Forsight to Buy a Sail and put it in the Garage that way I would be able to Fly My Predator for Decades to come.

I think about quite possibly this Month John very well might be coming up north here to the Northern California. Where John and I will try to get My Wings back. I vividly remember how I felt when for the first time in My Life with a Moyes Mars single surface I strode forward into the Air. My Harnes straps became taught, I was then lifted into the Air. For during that incredibly short Hop, A s I strode Forward into the Air. For the first time in My Life, I broke Free of this Gravity secured Penitentiary for that moment and time down at a Beach called Remuera I maybe flew for I do not know? Possibly for My Flight covered at the Maximum 150 maybe Fifty or Seventy-Five Yards. But for that super short time. "Time" I was only in the Air for maybe 30 seconds maximum. But that Moment and time i existed in a Magic place. For I was up in the Air Suspended by that Aluminum Alloy Airframe, that was with Covered with Dacron this formed the Gliders wing. For that brief Moment in time back in January of 1991 I was up in Heaven!

After I got home, I asked Dan Fleming to order Me a New Falcon 225. which Dan did. A Year later I bought My 158 Predator This purchase second Glider which was My Altair 158. that I still have. I mean talk about a well thought out design, what A Hang Glider!

I reflect on My; What I will call it My Journey. Yes, the way I see this is that I am on a grand Adventure Yes, I Am on My way back to Normalcy. Please take Note: My Normal is everyone's Abnormal/ But My being Abnormal, is Everyone Elses Abnormal, it always was that Way. I hope that I will continue to be Abnormal. But I had, and I cultivated a quite Positive an Attitude before I Pounded. My Attitude and My Drive served Me Well.

Well, this Post is not exactly a Post that is on subject. That Subject being {FLYING}, but then again, I never would have known that I had runaway High Blood Glucose Number rite there in the Mid Eight Hundred range. Anyways that was oh about Fourteen Years ago. a doctor i saw said and My Sister Kathleen Concurred that Due to My Bodies Internal Injuries due to My landing Mishap. That My Body was such Shock, that was what caused My Blood Glucose numbers to go Ballistic. Ballistic Blood Glucose Numbers, being in the mid Eight Hundreds So in the hospital My attending Doctors used drugs to Force My Bodies Blood to resister lower Blood Glucose Numbers Sofast Forward I came home. Kathleen and I use Food to regulate My Glucose numbers. Currently I have been in the Mid Eighties. I know that this has not been a Post on Flying. But Flying, Bad Piloting by Me caused this. So, as I said earlier in this Post, I only became aware of My Glucose Numbers. This was Due to My Last Flight...

I will leave Everyone with This Positive Flying Thought: "Get High and Go Far".

So come the End of June when John is going to return from Idaho. John will perform an I - R -A - N on My Predator. The only Negative is I most Likely will not Fly it. Well rite away i will not Fly it. It will be hard for Me after John Test Flys My Predator His sign of approval after Flying My Glider. It will just kill Me not to take My One Fifty-Eight for a Flight. Currently My Weight is Hovering around High One Hundred Pound range. I weigh Oh say as low as 197 Pounds, to about 202 Pounds.

I am chomping at the Bit to say head up to the Sierras. Maybe I will laugh from Wolfs Peak, or Cloud Buster, Or? There are a Fe Launches up there to undertake a Flying Odessey.

I was so pleased that Bob took interest in getting together with Me in order to go up to say Wolf's Peak where Bob will have a strange reality regarding Fling, A Flying Site that is Not Managed by some corrupt
Self-Serving Entity. Heck I have Launched Both Sites a Couple of Times. But I have Yet to run into some Corrupt Ya-Ho who has the Local Police in their Hip Pocket. I did not see anyone, not even a spectator. Bob is going to really enjoy Himself. It will be Fun.

Ok I had heard/read this idea/Thought Years ago. But reading it this Morning has really struck a Chord with Me. I mean I think it really applies to Flying say Predator. When I am Flying, what I did on a Previous Flight, or might do on a Future Flight means little to what I "Will Do" in the Current time so that I manage My Predators energy so as to achieve My Desired end Goal: that is just as it is when each of You Flair and Land. We all Hope to "Stick our landings. I just wonder if Mother Thresa Flew Hang Gliders. No really, I wonder what inspired Her to say-write what She said about Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow? Well, the thing that I have no question of regardless of if My Memory is not so good after 14 Pluss Years now. Is that when I was in the Act of doing a Pounding that changed My Life. I was thinking of nothing other than Flying My Predator.
