We have some notes scattered in the USHawks forum that have touched upon some of his works. This topic thread could focus on the man, inventor, aviator, builder, ...

Starting now with a good find and offer from USHawks member Tony Prentice (ARP) in a neat find of a paper by Stuart Wier, August 29, 2017, Boulder, Colorado: Superbly Small: the Demoiselle Airplanes, of Alberto Santos-Dumont, 1907 – 1909. Thanks for the link, Tony. :salute:
========================
A distinct cable-braced triangle control frame via the foot-launch hang glider of W. Simon at a sport hang gliding sporting meet in 1908 signal that at least by 1908 sport hang gliding in a battened flexible foot-launch hang glider was evident for the world to know. It is a fun exercise to see Alberto Santo-Dumont's use of the cable-braced queenposting triangle control frame in his various versions of the Demoiselle airplanes. And more. :thumbup:
