A neat photo of Hans Richter in an Otto Lilienthal hang glider machine.
Note the caption. "hand glider"
This jump or flight was photo captured apparently in 1926.

This 1921 article notes a beginning in 1908 of Hans Richter's gliding experiments. Notice that the pilot is called "glider" besides the machine.
[[Note: in 1908 we find our familiar A-frame cable-stayed with pilot hung from keel of battened flexible-wing hang glider in Breslau in a gliding club meet using weight-shift of pilot body for control while handling the triangle control frame or A-frame. The photo best known is of a pilot we have not named yet. See history of the A-frame in Aviation where is invited further research. We note now that Hans Richter had A-frame in some of his gliders and held downtubes, etc. He advanced into sailplanes. ]]

The Richter FLPHG seems very close to a motorized version of Otto Lilienthal's double-decker which Otto glider is imaged in this quote box:

I am guessing the museum has Hans Richter things.
But at the moment, while searching, I found the following ... and do not want to miss sharing the find, slightly off topic, but not entirely, as Hans Richter actually did things with Otto replicas or actuals, not sure.

Lilienthal Glider (Replica)

Otto Lillienthal's assistant Paul Beylich with his replica of the 'Normal Gliding Apparatus'.

This is a replica of the 'Normal-Segelapparat' (Normal Gliding Apparatus) designed by Otto Lillienthal (1848-1896). He successfully flew a glider of this type from 1894 onwards, but died following an accident. Lillienthal built a small number of these gliders for buyers in Germany and other countries. The glider is controlled by pilot weight-shift.
The example on display was built by one of Lillienthal's assistants, Paul Beylich (1874-1965), based on his personal recollection.
Otto Lillienthal crashed on 9 August 1896 with his glider and died one day later.
