Wingspan, it's funny that you should say that! I was fortunate enough to get a T2C last year and that's exactly what Phil said the first time we got it out of the bag. Kind of envy you guys who were around since the beginning - what a time!

You're right. The first time I saw the UP 185 Comet fly I owned one a couple of months later. I was flying an Omega 260 at the time. I couldn't believe the 185 squares could handle a load so well...

I just checked the price of a new WW T2C ($6975.00). YIKES! Then I found an on-line inflation calculator. Well, in 1975, a T2C would have cost ~ $1,625.00 (except they didn't have carbon fiber tubing at that time! )

I might have been able to save up that much back then.
