" BTW – That close up of me holding the model of the Skysail was probably taken the day of the Photo Fly. So that would be Dec 1971. A couple of points: I’m wearing the same jacket (but I wore it other times, also) and the model still has the ailerons. Before I changed the full size glider to drag rudders in early ‘72 I experimented with them on the model. "

Analytic note by Joe : "Also, the cloud cover texture and brush seem to corroborate Dec. 1971 Photo-Fly for that image on the SkySail."
