With regard to colors, I bought my Falcon from Windsports almost 2 decades ago, and I did consider visibility at the time. But I was in a hurry to get the glider, so I picked one with the best visibility among those available at that time. I chose white with a red-orange leading edge for visibility. I probably have better pictures, but this is one place where I knew I could find it:
