Air Force Physiological Training Books

Postby magentabluesky » Sun Feb 07, 2016 1:41 pm

I was going through some of my old books and ran across the Air Force Pamphlet "Physiological Training" AFP-160-5. So I checked Google and they have an updated version: AFRL-SA-WP-SR-2011-003, "Handbook of Aerospace and Operational Physiology". What a great resource.

AFRL-SA-WP-SR-2011-003 PDF
Handbook of Aerospace and Operational Physiology

Since many of us live and fly out in the desert here are two reference books used by the Air Force, Army, and Navy on Heat Physiology:

TB MED 507/AFPAM 48-152(I)* PDF
Heat Stress Control and Heat Casualty Management

TB MED 507/NAMEDP-5052-5/AFP-1PDF
Occupational and Environmental Health Prevention, Treatment and Control of Heat Injury

These should be great food for your nerdy brain.

Cheers,

Michael
