NCHGH
is the name of one of the thousands of chapters in hang glider history. It stands for "Not-See Hang Glider History".
:arrow: This blog writes part of that chapter. Find a statement in the hang glider literature that is an untenable. Give a counterexample or explain what is untenable about the statement. Find an error of typing or attribution and state the correction or correct attribution. There are thousands of untenable statements in the hang gliding literature that may be improved or corrected by work done here. Some untenables are deliberate; some are accidental; some are innocent newbie constructions. Have fun while you improve the hang gliding literature. :!: :idea: :?:

Is this photo of Octave Chaute on a Michigan sand dune?
Date....late 1890's or early 1900's?
I love these old and early hang glider photos!
They were the true pioneers and men with gliding visions :)

Your question about that photo is interesting; I am not answering that directly right now in this quick post.
However, be ready for some photo that does have the person Octave Chanute posing where flight was not intended.
