US Hawks Hang Gliding Association

Received an email from RGSA’s President Steve Crye:
“I have horrible news that I am very sad to report. I just got a call from Lee Boone's wife Erica Boone and she told me that Lee Boone is no longer with us. He crashed his hang glider trike this morning and he did not make it. She asked me to let all the pilots that I know about this tragedy. She also let me know that if anyone wants to contact her, to private message me and I will pass along her phone number. I have no additional information at this time”

I am so so so sorry to hear this. I enjoyed the time flying with Lee but most of all the time spent on launch talking and waiting for conditions.

The ceremony will take place

Procession to follow immediately and Lee will be laid to rest at 2pm

The obituary will be running I believe Sat and Sun 4.9/10.2023
