I thought I'd share with the readers a view of the Hat Creek Rim launch area as it was when the Shasta Sky Sailors pioneered the site back in the mid 70s. And as it was when we left in 2014!!

Because there seems to be some confusion on the part of the current permit holders at Hat Creek Rim I'm providing the following timeline in the hopes it clears the confusion up.
Why is that important? Well, to most it may not be important however, to those of us who developed the site it's very important. Hat Creek Rim is a premier flying site in NorCal and it didn't happen by accident - It took alot of hard work and that work should not go unrecognized. After all, how many clubs are fortunate enough to develop a world class flying site?
There are those who publicly claim that they were there and were participants in many of the 'larger developments' at Hat Creek Rim.
What?!?!
The timeline speaks for itself and should clear up any confusion.
