Had an exciting time soaring the cliffs at Torrey while a host of paras were in the air. Got in some great right-of-way ridge flying practice! An inlaw of mine even took a para 'lesson'! Conditions were just above marginal with a WNW on shore breeze. My feet left the launch on a borrowed Falcon 3 195. Thanks BobK! I was fortunate all around as this was the only day (Nov. 18th) I could get away while visiting inlaws for Thanksgiving. It was my 2nd Torrey flight - the 1st being way back in 1979! Next time SoCal visiting I hope to fly another coastal site - love those ocean views and smooth air!
