Kenny also flew and it was good to share the air with him again. Welcome back Kenny!!! We had a few other Hawks visiting for our 2nd Sunday and signed up a new member as well. Happy New Year!!

You lucky Hawk (Dog) We had 21.5 F for a low last night here in Las Cruces, New Mexico as well as the night before. There was ice on the bird bath and I had to break it up and pour a pot of hot water on it.

The temperature history shows that it was in the mid 50's during most of my flight. I didn't wear gloves, and it was the cold - more than anything else - that caused me to land after a little over an hour. I'll try to get Sky Dog Doug and Shelley and possibly dohara down to New Mexico and then maybe we can swing a trip to Torrey.

Sounds great!!! The spring flying season (February and March) is usually the best time to come out. Even better, those are some COOOOLD months in most of the country!!
