I just recently sent out the following email message to the members of the Torrey Hawks soliciting nominations for our Torrey Hawks officer positions:

Hello Fellow Members of the Torrey Hawks,
We will be holding our annual Election Meeting during our Second Sunday in October (October 13th, 2013). Our club's bylaws specify 3 officers:
President (currently Brian McMahon)
Vice President (currently David Beardslee)
Secretary (currently Bob Kuczewski)
I have contacted all of the current officers and they are all willing to stay on for another year, but if anyone is interested in running for any of these positions please contact me by the end of the day on October 6th, so we'll have a week to let everyone know who's running.
The Torrey Hawks have now been a USHPA Chapter for over 6 years, and we've been holding our regular Second Sunday fly-ins since spring of 2009. Please come out on the Second Sunday of any month to enjoy some flying or just hanging out with our members.
