Torrey Hawks Second Sunday - October 12th, 2014
We had a nice Second Sunday at Torrey today even though the conditions were predicted to be relatively poor.
And once again 100% of the actual hang gliding was performed by members of the Torrey Hawks ... 100%!!
The day was typical in many respects ...
We had the usual weekend paragliding congestion:

We had about half a dozen Torrey Hawks members show up for hang waiting, food, and discussions ...

We even had a young paragliding couple demonstrate the superiority of hang gliders over paragliders:

But the best part (for me) was making the only hang gliding flight of the day...

I'd like to say it was "nice" of the concession to lend us one ... but I can't because they're the ones requiring us to have radios in the first place!! And how long do you think the "free loaner" program will last?
