I've been following this story since I saw Eagle's post (http://ushawks.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1505&start=610#p10171). Here's how the local station CBS 8 has it reported on their web site at this time: Quote: Hang glider hurt in crash on Black Mountain Posted: Jan 31, 2015 6:32 PM PST Updated: Feb 01, 2015 11:06 AM PST SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A hang glider was injured Saturday afternoon while landing in the Black Mountain Open Space Park. The man suffered a back injury in the short landing east of the gliderport off Black Mountain Road shortly before 4:30 p.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. A fire-rescue dispatcher said the injured man would be taken to a hospital, but it was unclear if he would be transported by ambulance or by helicopter. The same story is also reported by local KUSI: Quote: Hang glider crashes in Black Mountain Open Space Park Posted: Jan 31, 2015 5:33 PM PST Updated: Jan 31, 2015 5:33 PM PST SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Fire officials are reporting that a hang glider is injured afterlanding short of the gliderport in the Black Mountain Open Space Park.
