Hello Fellow Hawks!!

Our first Second Sunday in 2020 looks like it should be marginally flyable, but not particularly great. The wind direction looks pretty good (mostly west), but the speed is forecast to be in the single digits all day.

Here's the forecast from a few minutes ago (last 2 rows are direction and speed) :

I was at Torrey for a little while today. The wind was actually a little better than predicted. There were lots of paragliders flying and the tandem cash cow kept the cash register busy. I didn't see a single hang glider flying.

Sounds like a great day for "slalom" skiing, as my friend Jeff says. He got banned from flying Torrance Cliffs, so he's a rebel.
