Happy New Year Fellow Hawks!! Here's the forecast for our first Second Sunday of 2022 (January 9, 2022): Attachment: Torrey_2022_01_09_Forecast_24hrs.png [ 27.04 KiB | Viewed 2440 times ] Sadly, with a peak wind speed of 7 mph, it doesn't look particularly good for hang gliding. But I'll be there for anyone who shows up just the same. I hope to see you there!! |

The forecast was sadly accurate and I didn't see much flying at Torrey today. I saw a few paragliders scratching to stay up, and most of them disappeared below the cliff for significant portions of their flights. Let's hope for better conditions next month.
