Ken Bryenton is a good pilot, a good friend, and a fellow member of the Torrey Hawks. It turns out that he was flying my own Falcon III in the video!!

I made a cameo appearance in the video to check the condition of the front wire where the RC had impacted (while I was able to remember the precise location). My friend Margie (heard to say "Oh my!!" in the video) took Ken to the hospital for a broken wrist.

There's a topic here on the US Hawks with individual frames (Collision at Torrey (HG / RC) August 29, 2010), but I hadn't seen the complete video that Ken posted. Thanks very much for linking to it miguel!!

 I thought this was a current event. I guess I should welcome myself to 2010.

Miguel,

Don't worry about posting that. It's a good topic. Hang out and post more. Have you been getting any airtime?

We could go to TorreyGliderPort.com and read the briefing. But........

BobK, can you tell us a little about Torrey ROW rules.

That's my Torrey whistle. It needs used, real bad :lolno: .

Yep, we need to make the trip. I'm serious.
