To the original maker of the motion:

I am inclined to vote "yes" to move the topic, but I would like to leave a link to the topic in the original location. Links do not rise to the top when the underlying topic is updated, so they gradually sink out of view. But providing a link does preserve the historical "trail" for people to find things and keeps topics from appearing to vanish.

Would the original maker of the motion accept the following amended version?

I'd like to state that the full topic you all are voting to move is about a hang gliding road trip across the full diagonal of the State of Kansas.
Ten hours of hard driving, in both directions, from the greater Kansas City metropolis, to the windswept plains of the Kansas/Colorado/Oklahoma border.
I was drained when I left after work at near midnight, from the east river bottoms rail yards, and I was drained 60 some hours later when we got back.

Is this vote to now restrict hang gliding stories in the blog area?
