Fellow US Hawks Trial Board Members,

I am posting to recommend that we add Rodger Hoyt (username: "Rodger") to the 2016 US Hawks Trial Board.

Rodger is US Hawks member #24 and joined us on October 16th, 2010. Rodger has made 27 posts on the forum. You can view all of Rodger's posts with this link:

I have read through all of Rodger's posts, and I believe they are all consistent with the US Hawks Mission Statement. Rodger applied for and received a US Hawks HGP and Hawk 5 rating on August 16th, 2015. Here's Rodger's application:

Dear US Hawks BOD,

Please consider my application for US Hawks 5 rating.
Below is a partial list of my experience:

Rodger Hoyt
USHPA Master (H5) Rating #37302
(withdrew from USHPA Aug 2015 due to profound ideological disagreements)
Hang glider pilot since 1982
Former President Rogue Valley Hang Gliding Association
Former Staff Writer Hang Gliding magazine
Former USHPA Special Observer
Multiple site Open Distance Record Holder
Multiple XC Contest Meet winner
Avid Atos flier

Thank you!

Rodger Hoyt

Rodger also resides in the northwest (Oregon) which is a region of the country not currently represented by a US Hawks Board member.

With those thoughts in mind, I move that we add Rodger Hoyt (Rodger) to the US Hawks Trial Board for 2016.

Sincerely,
Bob Kuczewski

I vote YES.

How do you get a blue box around the "YES"? :?

Super!!!!

I think most of our votes should be by majority, but for adding new Board Members, I really like it when it's...
     ... unanimous!!

Welcome   aBoard   Rodger!!!!!!

Answering Frank's question on the "vote" tag ...

To get the blue box for your vote, you use the "vote" tag just as if you were making something bold or underlined. Here's what it looks like in your editing window:

I cast my vote for [vote] Yes!! [/vote]

That will produce this:

I cast my vote for   Yes!!

We use the blue "vote" marker to make it easier to see. More importantly, if we ever had to do automated counting, that "vote" tag would be unique and easy for a program to count. We do the same thing with the nomination tag:

I nominate [nominate] Frank!! [/nominate]

That will produce this:

I nominate   Frank!!

Thanks for the excuse to show Rodger how we vote!!    ;)
