I second Bill's motion.
(We have to complete this step before voting on the wording, correct?)

Sometimes it can take a few days for people to respond.
I also think this is a good idea, and I would suggest - as a friendly amendment - that people provide sketches of proposals. I should also mention that there may be some technical difficulties. In particular, if you right click on our current logo image, your browser might show the bounds of the current logo (faint red line here):
Any changes to the image inside of that red line are relatively easy to make. I just change that image and it changes it everywhere in the forum. But resizing it is more difficult. Here's a copy of what we currently use if anyone wants to make proposed changes within its bounds:
You'll also note that the image isn't vertically centered in the gray band (it's more toward the top). When I started the forum, I tried to change that to use some of the space below and I couldn't figure out how to do that. So while it appears that there's lots of space available, it's not all easily usable.
So with those "webmaster" thoughts in mind, I invite people to submit two kinds of images:
1. Images that fit in the exact size that I've provided above.
2. Images that are unrestricted in size.
The first kinds (1) will be easy for me to add, and the second kinds (2) might take more work.
I vote YES on Bill's original motion, and I vote YES on the amendment I've proposed.
