Tendering my regisnation from the US Hawks Board of Dire

Please remove me from the Board of Directors of the US Hawks as of this posting.

It is in the best interest of the board to not include a conflicted member of this organization.

I have no further interest in making any decisions regarding the operations of the US Hawks. I do remain a general member of the US Hawks, just as i am a member of other hang gliding organizations.

Thanks,
Frank Colver

Frank,

Unlike USHPA and hanggliding.org, I believe it is in the best interests of the U.S. Hawks to include a diversity of opinions.

I ask that you reconsider your resignation with that thought in mind.

Frank,
I was counting on your vote to ease this "Wall of Shame," topic to the bottom of the stack.
It is just taking some members here longer to see that convincing people over at the hgdotorg
can NOT be done.

Their exclusive clique is the reason people are leaving hgdotorg faster than they can ban those that speak up and
choose not to wear the blinders.
For a time I was fooled into signing on with the website.
I would defend Joe there but he already said everything better than I could.
If I can't keep a promise to myself about not posting there, and someone finds out, no one will lend me money.
I see the complacent hgdotorg to be colluding with ushpa that has successfully brainwashed members about
needing insurance. (Businesses need insurance not recreational pilots).

Bob has admitted,
From a tactical viewpoint, I think this topic was a mistake on my part.

Frank Bob's admission, I'm sure, didn't joyfully make it way into text.
I credit you with that painful extraction.
We need your input as a Director, Frank.
Please reconsider.

You're correct - it didn't. I took it out and then made myself put it back in ... at least 3 times.

Faithful to my post today in another topic,
[ viewtopic.php?f=27&t=3054&p=24657 ]
it would be low integrity for a PDMC-org supporter
to be a director of USHawks. Frank might or might
not be tendering his resignation on such basis; but
the result shows alignment. USHawks focused
on RHG, needs inputs from RHG-focused people
who are not on other hand supporting anti-RHG
flows. The PDMC-blind org is having anti-RHG
effects.

For the record, I've placed a few phone calls to Frank, and he hasn't called me back.

Frank originally posted his resignation (this topic) in the private Board area, but now that it appears final, I am moving it to the public area as we do with all of the Board's final decisions.

I am sorry to see Frank leave the Board, but I agree with Frank's expression of conflict that he mentioned in his original post. While Frank's goals for a training glider are consistent with the goals of the U.S. Hawks, I'm sad to say that the compromises being employed to promote that glider are not. I don't know if that was the conflict that Frank meant, but I believe it's the only conflict that should interfere with his service on the Board.

Thanks Joe for stepping out of retirement to serve on the U.S. Hawks Advisory Board. :salute:
