Honoring the rich history and bright future of gliding at Dockweiler Beach

Chevron Oil Refinery
I've a vision of a strong play by Chevron for the future of beach hang gliding. One vision has the corporation building a roof over the vista automobile road to become a foundation for an artifical slope for hang gliding onto the El Segundo Beach which is south of the Dockweiler HG Flight Training Center. The roof would extend over a vehicle storage yard that the company has on the roadside part of the beach; their vehicles could be protected from the ocean's salt spray. And a world-class hang gliding slope could become a corporation symbol of their green investment.

This topic invites a tracing of Chevron Oil Refinery and any hang gliding involvement. Employees taking lunch breaks to go take a flight or two from Windsports? Construction of a higher artificial bridge slope for El Segundo Beach? Donations to the Friends of Dockweiler Gliding Society (once we get incorporated in a way that such donation would be a tax deduction)?

http://elsegundo.chevron.com/home/community.aspx The Outreach of the refinery one day might glance at hang gliding at Dockweiler. Give flight to the world of humans! What enhancements might occur at Dockweiler FTC? And which of those enhancement might become interesting to the Chevron Oil?

So, the deal might be: How might hang gliding help to move Chevron to pay its debt to the Amazonian communities?

Maybe if enough employees of Chevron fly into the sky foot-launching and foot-landing via hang gliding at Dockweiler in a Condor, they might through such activity and experience raise their consciousness and courage to face the equity challenge wrought by their company.
