Waldo Waterman (R.I.P.) of San Diego and Mike Riggs of Seagull Aircraft joined together on a hang glider project together in the early 1970s. Soaring photographer and Hang Glider Magazine photographer was a frequent visitor to the Waterman building in Santa Monica, CA, a building partly leased out to Seagull Aircraft and also to Self-Soar Association. Waldo Waterman was a generous financial supporter of Low & Slow being produced in his owned building. George Uveges dis some phtographic artwork to express the spirit of the biplane and the building spirit by tweaking contact-sheet poetry over the completed biplane hang gilder.

Of all the people i used to meet at Dockweiler in the early 1970's , perhaps one of the most regular HG pilots there was Bob Keeler .... in fact I learned more about Seagull Aircraft from Bob's verbal communicationwhile at the beach on Saturdays than from either Mike Riggs or Joe Faust.
Bob has a great sense of humor , a bit understated and very dry.
