Big Wheel repair for beach flying

Windsports gave me a couple of their broken Big Wheels so I could repair them and use them on my new Wills Alpha 210 for flying at Dockweiler Beach. The hubs had been cracked and broken. I've put all of the information from the repair process in my Dropbox site and it can be viewed and/or downloaded from there. Here is the share link:

There are still photos, a photo copy of my layout drawing for drill templates, and a tutorial video (27 1/2 min). The video even has slapstick humor as I accidentally bash things while handling my Alpha base tube and a wheel in my cluttered shop.

The repair material used is 1/8 thk x 12" x 24" polypropylene sheet from Industrial Plastic Supply's web site.

The repaired wheels were put to an important test. Frank tested the wheels on his maiden Alpha 210 flight (HIGH FIVES HERE!) !. Frank tested the wheels in a wheeled landing. All was great!
