Wind direction real time - Dockweiler
Posted: Mon Nov 27, 2017 11:28 pmThere is a Davis weather station (privately owned but web accessible) within a block of the flying site at Dockweiler. Here is the link where we can see the conditions within a couple of minutes of real time. http://www.weatherlink.com/user/scattergood
If you click on the "Summary" button you can get more info like wind degrees as well as speed.
Here is a screen copy of a satellite view the station's location. It's the green dot near the bottom (on Grand Ave.)
