Maybe Paul spaced out when he skimmed over this part:

So Frank is suggesting that USHPA hold on line workshops to help pilots inform land owners about recreational use statutes. But Paul says it won't work because too many land owners don't know about recreational land use statutes.

Paul's illogical comments shed light on how the sport of hang gliding got that noose around its neck in the first place.

DMarley seems to have a hard time understanding analogies. My point is that a public agency cannot on one hand claim that their parks are open to everyone, and on the other hand require membership in a racist organization to use public parks.

UPDATE: My point about racist organizations being inappropriate gatekeepers to public land was NOT to imply that USHPA is a racist organization. It is intended to make an analogy between racism and retaliation for testimony. I have no evidence that USHPA is (or is not) a racist organization, but I have very clear evidence that they have retaliated against pilots for testimony in a court of law. If that wasn't clear in my earlier posts, then it may have led to some confusion in the discussion.

I just can’t believe the stupidity of an organization’s board expelling someone for testifying in court and openly stating to the public that is the reason for the punitive action.

To have the organization’s legal counsel involved in an open prima facie violation is the icing on the cake.

My remedy is to correct the matter within the family of free flight and not involve the outside authorities.

Listen up. It has been said, “your hearing gets better at the hearing.”

The fact that you should put "legal counsel" in quotes should make all USHPA members very nervous.
