Thanks to Joe's post intending to add a horizontal rule, I've added a new tag: [hr]

The syntax is:
    [hr=height]color[/hr]


The height and color are required. The height is a number of pixels high, and the color can be a color name (such as red, white, blue, black) or a hexadecimal color specification (#RRGGBB such as #FF7F00 for orange with red=FF, green=7F, blue=00).

Here are 3 horizontal rules in colors red, white, and blue in heights 2, 5, and 20:

[hr=2]red[/hr]


[hr=5]white[/hr]


[hr=20]blue[/hr]



Here they are stacked together (all of height 20): [hr=20]red[/hr] [hr=20]white[/hr] [hr=20]blue[/hr]





Here are more horizontal rules with rainbow colors #FF0000, #FF7F00, #FFFF00, #00FF00, #0000FF, #FF00FF, #FF0000 (all of height 10):










Here's a thick divider done with: [hr=2]black[/hr] [hr=5]black[/hr] [hr=2]black[/hr]:






Note that you can also combine the new "hr=" tag with other tags such as the "left=" tag to further highlight portions of your post:

AI BBCode

As of June 26, 2026, a new "ai" BBCode tag has been added to the U.S. Hawks forum. The "ai" tag is intended to let people to know when they are reading information generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The "ai" tag operates in a manner similar to the familiar quote tag where you specify the name of the AI inside the opening BBCode. For example, if you were quoting ChatGPT, your opening "ai" tag might be [ai=ChatGPT]. That would be followed by the actual quote and then the closing tag of [/ai]. A typical "ai" quote might look like this in BBCode:

[ai=Chat GPT]Follow these steps to assemble the hang glider
directly over the ground cloth, which also serves
as the wrapping bag for the toted pack.[/ai]


The result will currently look like this:

Note that the actual formatting of the "ai" tag in the forum may change in the future. While the details of the formatting may change, it will always be intended to stand out so that people will know when they are reading AI-generated content.
