As a person who flies electric R/C gliders, rides electric motorcycles, and has built and rides an electric dual-sport trike, I'm definitely in favor of electric propulsion for all vehicles. In fact I'm hopelessly addicted to electric propulsion. I would love to fly an electric assist glider. Attached is a photo of my home-built e-trike in the Klamath National Forest last week (June 2015). This was a dirt ride of 53.5 miles with over 8,000 feet of climb / decent (out & back). Still had 26% charge left at the end. The era of electric propulsion is here!

Hmm. I wanted to know more about this glider, walked over to the wikipedia article and ...
... read almost the exact same text. Seems there is some copy-paste going on. The bulk of the article was written in 2007. But the internet archive started to spot lazairinfo.com in November 2012. So circumstance suggests, wikipedia is the original.

All wikipedia text content is published under "CC-by-SA" license. While it is perfectly legal and even encouraged to re-use wikipedia content any time for any purpose, this must be done with a proper attribution of the source. In addition, the license may not be changed. I see none of that at the site.

I wasn't sure that thing was ever going to get off the water!!!

I flew sea planes years ago (back in the 80's), and the freedom they offered was really special.
