You will see the UK has had this same insurance crisis and used it to promote the hang gliding school monopolies and USHPA is copying the script to the letter. What UK and USHPA don't know is we know this and are waiting.

Come spring when USHPA tries to renew their monopolistic insurance in California regulators will be waiting.
We are building a case to take them down and annihilate them. (in a most entertaining way)

Oh and the UK Pound Sterling will have devaluation to the point of being a Puerto Rico Protectorate. Maybe a us State "Old York" with 2 senators.

Ken Andrews is too busy to deal with this because of whats going on in the Kepler Belt.

BTW what ever happened to:

I am gearing up for the digital postproduction of the Aoli, Comet Clones & Pod People II DVD.
This DVD will contain the original 1982 release, along with an essentially new film including
the 1982 Owens Valley contests.

I am working on a new California Law that requires Paraglider GPS Vario that beeps when within 300 feet of terrain. This is to warn the California consumer that the reserve cannot save you when you are that close to terrain/cliff. I am also studying ballistic duel reserve paraglider safety system. that works down to 50 feet agl.

Concerning the statements made on AGL reserve deployment
I was grandfathered into Paragliding by David Jebb himself after a complaint that I was flying a Paraglider at Torrey Pine's
with no PG rating at all. I was a volunteer Torrey Pines Assistant Flight Director employee for a school credits,... Ha, yet another dreadful story. David Jebb signed me Off immediately to a Para 3, with minimal training. told me to Lie about it if it comes Up.
I was taught or told that a Para reserve have been know to work at 50ft. I was never taught anything concerning what t do in Collapse, except throw yer Chute Fast, use common sense and my Hang Gliding experience.

That was true, I only had a Real Hang 4 from HOWARD MITCHELL loaded with special skills.
As far what I was taught, Hang Glider reserve have been Know to work at 100 ft , if yer bullet fast, with God's Luck

Much like Today, talking about crashing or collapse is a NO NO, should be minimized, and is bad for our sport

They taught me just enough to seriously put me in trouble, They put a very dangerous Paraglider in my hands that collapsed and Almost Killed Me. They Knew it dangerous, I still have the Paraglider.
With all my skill today I wont fly it... & wouldn't give to anyone with a clear conscience.

This showed me early on how dangerous these people are.
