With regard to the video problems, that's the trouble with depending on anyone else (whether it be U$HPA or YouTube or the City of San Diego). It turns out that YouTube just decided to "change the rules" on how video is embedded. You can see some discussion here:

I started a topic named "YouTube Blacking Out Video" here in our forum, so please feel free to discuss the YouTube fiasco there. I think I've got it fixed for now, but as long as our videos are hosted by an outside entity (YouTube), they can do what they want (change formats, start charging per view, pull the plug entirely, etc).
As for this topic, my October 8th, 2013 prediction (from video above) has come true. The City of San Diego RFP (Request for Proposals) came out with clauses which have effectively "wired" the contract for the current concessionaire.
It's a well-known trick in the bidding and proposal world for a government entity (like San Diego) to draft a supposedly "open" RFP in such a way that guarantees only their "buddy" can qualify. That appears to be what the City of San Diego has done with the Torrey Pines Gliderport.
