Attention, pilots! The Rio Grande Soaring Association will once again host its annual Dry Canyon Fly-In in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Come on out and soar with us, May 26 through May 29, 2017. No entry fee, good air, barbecue, contests, trophies - it's hard to beat! We had a great time last year, so why not do it again? I'll be the troll under the shade structure for the weekend. I'll keep watch over the equipment left in the LZ while pilots are at launch.
I'll have along my BBQ, deep cycle battery and inverter (110V) for charging radios, phones, a big jug of water for kamel baks ice cooler for sodas and water. I'm thinking we will have hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, salads, and if you want to eat fancy you can buy a tender loin and throw in on my BBQ.
