Presidents' Day Fly-In

Postby cascpa » Fri Feb 10, 2017 11:18 am

There should be a good turn out from Austin and Houston this year. On that note, we would like to order up some primo soaring conditions for the weekend+. 8-) I will be coming down Saturday from Pagosa.

Well thank you Bob. Win, loose or draw, it is a beautiful place to do a little winter camping.

Before I get too old to fly, I'd like to take 4 to 6 months to travel around the country meeting pilots and flying all the sites I've heard about. Of course, that may take some time since USHPA has "excommunicated" me.

Fly safe!

Of the nine closest sites that I fly around Las Cruces, NM only one is insured and I don't fly that one.
I've got a bedroom here for you Bob.

Frank Colver and I visited last month, but we didn't get any flying (our fault).

It would be great to meet you in person Charlie (maybe worth the drive even without any flying).

But most of my February is booked solid. How long are you staying?

Probably through the 20th or 21st. The forecast looks very good. Headed that way tomorrow. Come on out. You only live once.

Arrrgh ...

I have commitments through Saturday the 24th. I could drive out Sunday, but you'll be gone.

Drive safely, and say "Hi" to Bill, Robin, Mike, Had, Steve, and everyone else in the club. Post plenty of flight reports for us to drool over.
