We had a nice Second Sunday at Torrey today. Several of us were there all afternoon, and it was mostly without incident. There was the usual illegal smoking in our city park, and quite a few children went for tandem joy rides. But other than that, the day was pleasant enough.

I am very glad that I stood my ground back in 2014 and 2015. Those repeated arrests were extremely painful at the time, but the long term reward has been the establishment of our rights to at least be in our public parks. As for actually flying in them... that's still a work in progress.
