What about Davis? Journalistic Integrity?

Postby Free » Sun Aug 28, 2011 11:55 am

If Davis Straub had journalistic integrity he would censor himself from any discussion of "Ron Paul" on every discussion board he is on because he censors even the name of "Ron Paul" in that public medium.
No discussion of Ron Paul on the "OZ Report" forum.
Davis doesn't allow that...

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

"Moderator/journalist, Davis Straub, doesn't allow discussion of "Ron Paul" in his journalistic sandbox, he should just shut his mouth at other campfires:
http://www.hanggliding.org/viewtopic.php?t=22926&sid=7a3537377d70f80a3270956d6a1ad534
when discussion of Ron Paul comes up.

But the question is journalistic integrity.
A problem is that the term doesn't mean much anymore. Journalism doesn't mean much anymore. Today's media is mostly bought and paid for 'presstitutes' that will do anything or say anything they are told. Talking hairdoos, most of them.

Real journalists are few and far between.

Anyway, if Davis has an ounce of integrity, in any form, he will address this issue.
Can he justify being a coward to the name "Ron Paul" on his commercial media forum, and yet freely comment and smear the good name of Dr. Paul, in other forums, without a full disclosure of his own journalistic bias?
Anything?

Real journalists aren't cowards.

Davis Straub shows that he is either an idiot or he thinks that most of his readers are idiots.

Ron Paul, doesn't have a track record of predictions and Paul Krugman, the economic theorist, has a good one?
Really...

Ron Paul, was calling this 'end game' economic situation a couple decades ago.
Idiots like Paul Krugman helped get us into this mess.

Ron Paul has been proven right, over and over.
I 'called' an economic collapse over a decade ago, almost two.
NAAFTA and GATT were the writing on the wall.
Anyone should have been able to see it.

Al Gore, another Davis Straub hero, openly lied to us about how great it would be for America, on the Larry King show with Ross Perot.

That 'giant sucking sound' of lost manufactoring jobs is now just a nightmarish memory that has been replaced by the manufactoring sounds of crickets and unhappy, unproductive natives.

Ross Perot was right, Ron Paul has been right, all along, and Davis has to be the idiot for thinking he can get away with saying something that stupid. (although it helps to be a cowardly list bully and censor)

So.. let's give more money to international banksters so they can further buy us up for pennies on the dollar.. (which now is worth pennies on the dollar, thanks to the banksters that we've been bailing out)

We are being poisoned to death and the medicine prescribed by Straub and his hero Krugman, is more poison.
They are idiots enough to think you will follow them off the cliff. ... Ok some of you are... ha..

Ron Paul has been right all along.
Davis Straub has been wrong all along.

I noticed the latest registered user at the Oz Report just got censored because they apparently
signed up as Ron Paul, as "* Paul" showed up on the avatar sig in posts that have now dissapeared.

Guess the bully censor had to protect his territory.. all the while hypocritically posting all kinds of political/economic garbage on the equally censored Jack show.

It says a lot.
They want us confused, controlled and fighting amongst ourselves.
We are plied with lies and disinformation by the main propaganda arm of the government, mainstream media.
This has branched out to journalist wannabes like Davis Straub, who seems to be a waterboy for the queen of lies and disinformation, the New York Times. Straub pushes the same talking points given other presstitutes and I wouldn't doubt that he is taking money for doing so. There is clearly an agenda being presented and Straub does his best to schill with the rest.

In the end it's all about big government, big taxes, loss of freedom, never ending wars, global governance, eugenics, mass poisoning, total control.. to name a few .. and especially a tax on breathing, a carbon tax paid to the big inconvenient liar Al Gore! That will keep all the polar bears from drowning, for sure..

Everything is distraction and distortion keeping us from seeing what is really going on.
They dumb us down and feed us our opinions.
No one speaks out for fear of being ostracized by the lock-steps.
Black is white, ignorance is strength.

Quote: Davis Straub, in defense of taxpayers giving billions more to global banksters:
Unfortunately making sense doesn't actually make any sense in our present circumstances.

On the two party political system... two wings of the same bird:

The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy.

From where I sit, I see a continuum with the last administration's policies segueing seamlessly into the present administrations policies. All to benefit the moneyed class and their corporations. I think the clown show that are the Republican candidates is being produced and manipulated by the moneyed class. $2.00/gal gas?

I read the NY Times most everyday. Use Private Browsing and read it for free. I also read your links. I read a little of everything.

Davis is nothing more than opinionated, as is Jack, as is you.

Sorry, but I just do not get excited over any of this

And you are absolutely correct in that observation. Do you also observe that in this seamless continuum the entrenchment and escalation of siezed power and the resultant loss of our constitutional liberty and freedoms?

What Bush was denounced for is openly accepted by a large contingent of the self hating progressive crowd.
War, indefinate detention, wiretapping, summary executions of whom ever the figurehead messia designates..

Obama was selected to do his part of the dirty job as we said goodby to GWB. Now the next corrupt and blackmailed figurehead savior has already been selected to pick up where Obama left off. Obama will be the scape goat for the next guy.

The economy is not going to come back. The big picture plan was to implode it and plunder the country all along.
Food riots are in the works. There will be more staged terror attacks. It is all designed to break our will and reduce us into submission. Give up your rights for safety and food stamps. The food is garbage and so is their version of safety. But I digress..

All to benefit the moneyed class and their corporations. I think the clown show that are the Republican candidates is being produced and manipulated by the moneyed class.

Yes. Yes, with the exception of Ron Paul, but the schill media says he doesn't count anyway... can't be elected bla bla bla.

I read the NY Times most everyday.

The paper of the ruling class.
So many lies. so little time..
Millions die because of lies of the New York Times.

I have to say that I like Jack's opinions a little more than Davis.
I'll also dissagree that Davis is only voicing an opinion.
There is an underlying agenda behind Davis' screed.
He seems to be reading off a script. The playbook of the ruling class.
So much propaganda, so little time.
So much bulls***. Now he loves this, loves that... la la la..
Happy happy happy.. the beautiful world and all it's servants are there for his personal pleasure..

DebogusDave nailed him correctly to Sol Alinsky's gameplan when he started the "why do you hate America" crap.
Pure evil monkey dust.

Davis knows what he is doing.

Sorry, but I just do not get excited over any of this

Don't worry, there will be plenty to get excited about down the road and it's not going to be a great economic recovery in spite of trillions more of your and your children's money being given to the ruling class.

There's also not going to be a great weather change (back to normal?) no matter what penance tax we pay to the big fat liar Al Gore.

Those are just two things not to get exited about and there are many more. I'll spare you that for now.
Time for bed. Sweet dreams are made of these.. eh?

PS edit: So it's not all bad news, here is some good news.
You've been lied to about saturated fats!
They've been good for you all along.

If one wants to find good in something, one will probably succeed. The opposite is probably true most of the time. Probably no forum as subject would escape such processing.

Compromise? Seasons? change? Limited participation? Options.
Davis has confirmed that he would consider reprieving ban on banned posters.

Grow a US Hawks presence in the Oz Report? Gently, politely, sincerely, ... with solid content and lots of "let others be" perhaps?
