Wow!!
What a great day at Dockweiler today!!!

Joe,Frank, and I spent the day enjoying the Beach, the Breeze, and the Alpha 210. Frank brought his seated harness, and it was fun as usual. Joe and I both soared. Joe even hovered in place out in front of launch.

The west wind in the earlier forecast showed up a little later than predicted, but the direction and speed were just about perfect. I'll add some pictures after I take a little rest from such a fun day.

Thanks for the friendship of Joe and Frank. It's been no secret that Frank and I have disagreed on some "political" issues, but it was a joy that we were able to put them aside to share a day at the beach. Thanks to Joe and Frank for another great day of flying. I hope we have many more.

Significant soaring video of the day; camera holder: JoeF; camera owner: BobK.
Note the encounter with seagulls.
Super day.

Each of we three have been sole owners of that Alpha 210. Order of ownership: Wills Wing, Inc., Frank Colver, Joe, BobK. Who will be next for the wing?

I recall not long ago Michael Grisham flew the same wing at Dockweiler.

I bought a new downtube for the wing yesterday, the day after our super-fly day. One bend while I was owner; one bend by me while Bob is owner. The ship will soon be fitted with a bright new downtube.

It was fun flying two different pilot-holders. I had about 10 flights just with Frank's swing seat. More with my workers' fall-arrest harness.
