Let's say that a group of family and friends sit down for a Thanksgiving turkey dinner. One among them grabs the entire turkey and places it on his plate.

That's a very bad analogy. Or is it a metaphor? Whatever it is, it isn't exactly honest.
A better illustration to what is going on here is that at your Rockwell painting Thanksgiving dinner, someone arrives with a ham and side dish of red pill sauce to contribute to the feast.
An elder becomes confused and complains that someone stole his turkey when that is not the case at all. There is plenty turkey all around and now there is ham.
No one is after your turkey.

A Very slightly different version than Bob's -

The person who brought the ham knows very well that grandpa is severely allergic to ham, or the honey glaze, or the smoked flavoring, both of which become air born when the heated ham is placed on the table. What is this person thinking? Everyone else around the table knows that this person knows about grandpa's problem, so obviously they are trying to send grandpa into anaphylactic shock. Which indeed requires an ambulance to be called. The person who brought the ham is grinning the whole time. Result - The family disowns him and he is never invited to another family event.

Additional Note - Warren's "red pill sauce" is referring to his own "harsh truth" about what HE THINKS is really happening on the National political stage. Well "Warren" I could give a flying FUC* what you "think" about National politics! Since I include "flying" in my last sentence then it is clearly hang gliding related and can not be moved to the Free Speech Zone.

http://www.usmemorialday.org/pearllst.txt

"The shock of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941 prompted the United States to set the number of glider pilots needed at 1,000 to fly 500 eight-seat gliders and 500 fifteen-seat gliders. The number of pilots required was increased to 6,000 by June 1942.[2]" Source of quote.

I am keeping open to the effects of such glider pilots and the glider riders ---tens of thousands on the 50's and 60's---- in the face of eventual DIY glider riding from gliding parachutes and gliding Rogallos ....

My good friends father had glider pilot #1 license in WW11. and Along with so many of our fathers and mothers, they all stepped into the "breach" for "our" country , and they were the band of brothers.
Their "giving" quality is not recognized much any more. It comes from the heart, with compassion, not from the brain with words.

It still shows up from time to time here at the U.S. Hawks. Thanks.    ;)

By the way, my father was the youngest of 10 children - nine boys and one girl. The 7 oldest all served in WW II - 5 in the Army, 1 in the Navy, and 1 in the Marines.

The youngest two boys served in the Army in Korea.

My friends father sailed his 60' 1928 wooden sailboat out into the North Pacific along with his band of brothers, to meet the German U-Boat threat. Armed with only a 45 pistol, a Thompson sub machine gun, A radio, a depth finder, and their own innate whits, and also rescued thousands of fellow sailors from the burning seas.
Our fathers (his and mine) didn't talk much about their time at war, but Don and I would always say later "where did we get these men". I know you have a place in your heart too.

That is a vicious false assertion. It shows you have a vivid imagination, Scott, but you and Bob have both gone into a dark expression of your perception, in order to create a false narrative.

And we dive deeper into your psychological reality? You both paint such a dark picture. A smokescreen or smoke and mirrors. Deception and or gaslighting. Can either of you defend this as anything more than propaganda?

Additional Note - Warren's "red pill sauce" is referring to his own "harsh truth" about what HE THINKS is really happening on the National political stage.

I did give some of my opinion. That is called communication. No one was forced to consume it. It was not deadly ham. This was not the red pill sauce.
What "HE THINKS" might just be icing on a cake that could be easily knifed off, as I usually do when rarely eating cake. It's just bad fat and sugar and that info is red pill sauce.
More red pill info is that commercial flour and trans fat shortening is slow killing grandpa too. Now we're back to hey, who brought this poison cake to the feast? Was it you Scott, because you didn't know what I know, and don't want to know?

Well "Warren" I could give a flying FUC* what you "think" about National politics!

Guess that answers my question above. Kinda rude don't you think?
Since I include "flying" in my last sentence then it is clearly hang gliding related and can not be moved to the Free Speech Zone.

Sure it can be moved anywhere or deleted from history. It could be dropped into the black hole by a tyranny of three.
All it takes is for someone to make a motion and get 2 co-sponsors to go along.
Oops! Sorry for the red pill.
You can ignore the facts if you want to. Take the FDC blue sauce instead if you don't mind the cancer it may give you.
You will wake up the next morning and remember nothing and your mind will be at ease, such as that is...

I'll also re-iterate an analogy that I gave Bob, a long time ago:
I'm just going down the road and I come across a family having a feast. It is all happiness and merriment.
The problem is that I notice smoke curling out from under the eaves of the house.
I go to the door and pound on it in order to alert the occupants that there is a problem.
Your house seems to be on fire! You need to save grandpa and the children.

Rubbish, you say. You are just after our turkey!
Then, the house burns down because you didn't like the message.
Remember that one, Bob?

I wasn't finished before you pounced, Craig.
Can you further explain the "swinging lamp routine"?
