BobK and JoeF wowed many beachgoers with human flight:
Wow! We had such a pleasant healthful day yesterday. Your 30 flights and my 20 flights on your Condor 225 .... friends and food, birds, people, seal, ocean, just-neat wind, sun, ... nice day!
One of Joe's flights, video by Angela:

SW wind slope, low wind, going for distance:

Idea: In climbing divots place old socks filled with sand. I have hundreds of socks waiting to be used as steps up the slope. :?:

Beautiful! I would have much rather been out there with you guys instead of in a medical center talking with a cardiologist about pacemakers.

Judging from Joe's height above the beach it looks like you had a good launch wind.

I'm sorry you couldn't make it Frank. It was a very nice day. The wind was firmly in the "comfortable" range. It was good for flying, but not at all intimidating.

Here are some of Joe's flights in your old Condor:

Angela was a role model citizen picking up bags and bags of garbage to make the site nicer for everyone.

A robot-composed video (cell phone app made the video from shots of the day on Angela's phone without directing from her): concerns July 31, 2017,

I made 201 flights at Dockweiler today.

I could not have done it without the kindness and support from Joe and Angela - two of the best people I've ever known.

Fantastic!!!

Congratulations Bob!!!

I thought about your record attempt, as it was happening, many times during the day today. So glad you made it all the way.

Too bad I had to stay where i could talk medicine on the phone at times all day or I would have been there to cheer you on. But at least my previous glider was the non-human part of the event. And that's the glider that gave me my first high flight in 39 years. It's racking up more firsts!
