A *HangGlider* control bar could be so much more than a "lever" and a place to attach stuff, or pull the laminar VG. The flight feathers of a bird fine tune it's trim. Could new, high tech Battens, which haven't been invented yet, be added and used like, Trim Tabs, or "trim feathers"?, using the "Control Bar".

Trim is so important to "fun flying", in all of Aviation, and is taught early on, and once a new HG pilot enters the air, and can "Trim", much more confidence is built, and unwanted pilot oscillation cut to a minimum. jmo
