What wing did he use? How close was the forecast to his experience?

Thanks Joe.

I flew the Condor 225. I was a little worried that the conditions might be too strong for the Condor, but it turned out to be the right choice. I didn't have a wind gauge with me, but I don't think it was as strong as predicted. I flew at a comfortable pace all day. I was able to soar the ridge nicely in one direction, but usually fell out of the lift band in the turn and returned too low for a third pass.

But it was fun, and I'm glad I went.

Here's the processed video from Tuesday's flights at Dockweiler on a Wills Wing Condor 225. I think I made at least 50 flights, but one of my camera batteries ran out while filming. This video shows about 50 flights. The flights themselves are sped up by a factor of 3, and the carrying sequences (between flights) are sped up by a factor of about 60. I flew at a relaxed pace from about 11am until just before sunset with several long breaks. :)



P.S. Thanks to Joe Faust and Frank Colver for helping to open Dockweiler to the public. Thanks also to Frank Colver for the Condor 225 - although the 330 would have been a better fit for the day. ;)

POSSIBILTIES

So I imagine that what I am about to ask is {OFF SUBJECT}. But then again there is a very slight Connection to Flying, that would be My resurrection so that where I will be able to return to My Home, My true Home. My True home is that place all of Visit. You know I have talked about My thought's regarding Flight. I do not look t Launching From a Costal ridge and making Pases back and forth along a ridge. Nor do See Launching From a Training Hill, a Mountain site. Or towing up as any different in the fact that The Glider is Mechanical thing. It knows not where it is being flown. Correspondingly When i began Flying. I tried to absorb all the information that I could ingest into My Brain. There were things that I did take note of such as complicating Your landings by confusing Air-Speed with Ground Speed. I am absolutely do not think for One Minute that if one is Flying in the Air above their Home site on a given Day. The Air above the Ground along an Xc route is bot any more Dangerous. Than where You had launched from.

Flying Feelings; Bob once said to Me, I believe that He said it this way. I fly, Because I just Love being up in the Air. I think that Bob hit The Nail on the Head with that Statement, Right on Bob!

For Me to be able to contemplate My returning to the Sky, is just Simply an Awesome Possibility !
