There's a very interesting series of videos showing how to build a computer from transistors alone. This is even more challenging than Ben Eater's integrated circuit computer.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been a 3rd video released at this date. It's possible (likely) that Lev moved on to other challenges with higher rewards. Even so, he produced an excellent pair of inspiring videos. Thanks Lev.
