I'd think the same thing I think now. AI is probably the most dangerous thing that we've unleashed on ourselves.

By the way, I recently found the ISBN of the Time-Life Books series that I consulted on in the late 1980s. The series was titled "Understanding Computers", and I'm credited as a consultant in the "Alternative Computers" volume. I helped with several of the neural network sections (now referred to as "AI") in that volume.
