As I mentioned earlier, I got back from Charlie Kirk's memorial at 3am. It took me a while to unload the car and eventually get to sleep. The Monday City Council meeting is normally at 2pm, and that's normally when they hold non-agenda public comment which would have been a good time to speak on both Charlie Kirk's event and the Torrey Pines Gliderport. It was my plan to speak at that meeting.
Unfortunately, this Monday's meeting was decleared by the Council to be a "Special" meeting and they held non-agenda in the morning. So I was not able to give the speech I wanted to give. But there was a 2pm agenda item 613 titled "Informational Item Regarding the Fiscal Year 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Programs". Since both Charlie Kirk and President Trump held similar views on the homeless issue, I spoke on that issue:
