Miles to get to work, Predator z

Postby Chris McKeon » Sat Mar 28, 2026 6:31 pm

I do declare that when I flew My Predator to work, oh around Eight Miles from the Juniper Ridge Launch. At 6:30 AM I launched and I had the best Sled Ride! That was so fun. I should do something like that again some Day.

Just remembering some of the too Cool Flights that I had while Flying My Beloved 158 Predator. Thr Flight when I flew My Predator to work. Now that was just so cool. I mean I felt like I was James Bond going to work! It is a good thing that My Predator cops already good Glide. As cool as that Flight was.. there was absolutely no lift on that morning around 6:30 AM. I am not so sure of the Numbers but between launch and where I landed. It is somewhere in the high 2000's regarding how much altitude that You have to use . That Flight had the: (COOL FACTOR) just about pegged. MB

While getting to work via Flying My Predator was just the coolest vesy that I have ever gotten to Work. I mean asvI mentioned in My previous post. By committing By Flying My Predator to work had the COOL Meter pegged. I mean this when I ask; Am * the only person who ever used their Hang Glider to Work? ReLlly, has anyone else committed to Work via their Hang Glider. Too Cool say I.

Boy do I wish that I was back in time having My beloved Predator set up, pre flighted, I had done a through Pre-Flight. I dropped down and did My Hang-Check. I then waited for a non existent Cycle to Roll in. But when You are up on Mount Diablo on even a late Spring Day. There are no Cycles rolling through at well before 7:00 AM. But Heck I had My track shoes on. Ii called Clear. Why did I call call "Clear"? For there was no one up there at Juniper ridge up on Diablo where We launch from. Then I was off to the Races, and up I to the Air for an eight Mile totally dead Air Sled Ride. Great time, Great Flights! Fantastic way to get to work. Great, Fantastic Glider My Predator.

Flying My Predator to Work. Now that Flight using My Predator to Compute to work was My greatest Flight to date at the Time anyways. For currently My very next Flight is going to be My Greatest Flight. Will I be flying very High? No I might only get to fifty feet off the Ground. Will the Flight cover day a couple of Hundred Miles? No it will not. But the Flight is going to; absolutely be the Greatest Flight that I have ever made. Nor that I will ever surpass in what I consider a Great Flight.
